Last week, we were delighted to welcome Stuie Ellerton, Director of SimFly Aviation Training, and his colleague into school to deliver an exciting aviation‑themed careers session for our Year 5 and Year 6 pupils. Stuie was once a pupil at St Bede’s himself, which made his journey even more relatable and inspiring for the children.

St Bede’s Choir Shines at the Darlington Mayor’s Song Contest!
A huge congratulations to our wonderful St Bede’s choir, who delivered an absolutely incredible performance of “Mother Knows Best” at the Darlington Mayor’s Song Contest last night! Their hard work and talent truly paid off as they were awarded a fantastic 2nd place!

A huge well done to Holly in Class 3/4, who recently took part in a football tournament in Gateshead. She showed fantastic effort and determination throughout the competition, and her team finished in the top three — an amazing achievement!
Our Media Correspondents Update!
