Our UKS2 pupils had a fantastic afternoon this week at Darlington Golf Club, taking part in an exciting and enriching golf experience.

Throughout the session, the children enjoyed a range of practical workshops, developing their skills in putting, chipping and even taking on the challenge of long shots at the driving range. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they practised new techniques and embraced the sport with enthusiasm.

Not only did our pupils demonstrate impressive golfing ability, but they also showed outstanding manners, respect and sportsmanship to everyone they met — truly reflecting what it means to be a St Bede’s ambassador.

While all pupils performed brilliantly, a special congratulations goes to Thomas, who won the ‘Closest to the Hole’ competition — a fantastic achievement!

We would like to extend our thanks to the Darlington School Sport Partnership for organising such a memorable event, and to Darlington Golf Club for being wonderful hosts.

A great afternoon was had by all, and we are incredibly proud of how our pupils represented St Bede’s both on and off the course.
