Our Year 3 pupils at St Bede’s have made a fantastic start to their new music unit all about friendship.

This week, the children have been exploring the different musical notes featured in their song, including G, A, B, C and D. They enjoyed experimenting with these notes and beginning to understand how they come together to create melody.

Alongside this, pupils have been developing their sense of rhythm and timing, working hard to follow the beat and perform the song together. It has been wonderful to see their growing confidence as they practise and support one another.

The theme of friendship has provided a lovely opportunity for children to reflect on working together, listening to each other and building positive relationships through music.

We are incredibly proud of Year 3 for their enthusiasm and focus—what a brilliant start to their musical journey!
