Year 2 pupils at St Bede’s in Darlington delivered a confident and memorable performance during a special visit to Hopetown, Darlington, celebrating the birthday of railway pioneer George Stephenson.

The event provided an exciting opportunity for children to bring their classroom learning to life in a real-world setting, surrounded by the historic locomotives that reflect Darlington’s rich railway heritage.
