Our Mini Vinnies enjoyed a truly special day as they took part in a Trust‑led celebration for St Patrick’s Day — a wonderful opportunity to come together in faith, friendship and service.
A Morning of Reflection
The day began with the Stations of the Cross, where our pupils took on important roles through thoughtful readings and meaningful participation.
This was followed by a beautiful Mass at St Augustine’s, celebrated alongside pupils from across the Trust. Our Mini Vinnies represented St Bede’s with such reverence and maturity.
An Afternoon of Community and Celebration
In the afternoon, the celebrations continued in the church hall with a lively St Patrick’s Day party. The children enjoyed Irish dancing, chatted with pupils from other schools, and spent time with members of the parish community — a lovely example of our Trust family coming together.
Proud of Our Mini Vinnies
We were incredibly proud to receive so many positive comments about the children’s behaviour, respect and involvement throughout the day. They truly represented St Bede’s beautifully.
Well done, Mini Vinnies — we are so proud of you!
Living Out Our Lenten Journey
This meaningful celebration linked perfectly with our Lenten journey and supported our Live Simply actions, reminding us of the importance of compassion, faith and togetherness.
