Prayer is the foundation of Christian living and is therefore an important part of our daily life in school. Prayer is about communicating with God and opening ourselves up to God the Father, through his Son, in the strength of the Holy Spirit. In prayer we listen to God and we speak to God; we lift up our hearts and minds to him. It is through prayer that we come to know God.
Jesus invited us to pray as a community, not just as individuals, and so we have our school prayer:
